Bob is a Retired Certified Public Accountant and current Certified Financial Planner™ certificant. He holds both a series 7 and 63 securities registrations and a California life and disability insurance license.
As a CPA Bob had a tax practice specializing in individual and small businesses for 39 years. In 1976 he became involved in the securities industry as a CPA helping solve problems with over 40 limited partnerships. In 1981 Bob obtained his securities registrations, completed the CPA Advance Personal Financial Planning program in 1985 and the Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 1987.
Bob specializes in helping individuals with wealth accumulation and wealth distribution. This includes education, retirement planning, rollovers and distribution strategies. He is very passionate about helping graduates get on the right path financially when starting their careers.
Bob has been active in the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Services Institute, California Society of CPA's and the American Institute of CPA's. He has also been a member of the South Bay Estate Planning Council.
Bob graduated with a BBA from Kent State University in 1966 with a major in accounting. He spent the next two years in the US Army in a highly classified document control unit at the US Pentagon before moving to Los Angeles. He lives with his wife June, who is a nationally respected disability policy consultant.
